I will always remember the two weeks between June 12 to June 26, the time I spent in Creston, BC working as an artist-in-residence at Empire of Dirt. I was lucky to be invited by Marnie Temple through lead artist Sophia Zarders, who also invited tattoo and comic artist, Zi Greene-Bull.

This artist talk was the culminating event that allowed us to showcase the work we accomplished during our time there. I talked about drawing, writing, my interdisciplinary influences (poetry, fiction, cities, places, animals, history, politics, emotions), my Creston Comics, and for the first time ever, my characters Dog & Duck.
