Crisis Intimacies (2021)

My thesis to complete the Master’s of Urban Studies program at Simon Fraser University.

I conducted an ethnographic study of the Vancouver housing crisis through the proliferation of roommate households in the city. At the centre of my thesis was the question, “What does it mean to live together out of economic necessity?”

You can read the full thesis here.

Managed to sneak in some drawings of dog roommates in the thesis.
